Ministries

CCOV offers a number of church ministries that work with the Church Council to direct the business of our community. Volunteers are always welcome. The following is a current list of our active church ministries:

Christian Education

We plan activities and curricula to help children, youth and adults learn more about the principles and practices of Christianity in our church and local communities. We sponsor retreats, camps, field trips, Bible studies and special events to explore God's beauty and lessons in our lives.

Outreach

We participate in local and world-wide programs such as homeless shelters, low-income schools and other non-profits, that are in need of money, time and other resources. Mission is a key part of our denomination and our collective voices and hearts make a difference!

Inreach

We help members and visitors express their talents and enjoy shared interests by hosting a variety of activities and events at church - and in our community. We help strengthen our bonds with each other as an expression of God's love.

Worship Life

Sunday services are a special time for all of us, and our purpose is to make this sacred time one of celebration and thanksgiving. We help with themes, decor, ushering and special events that support the Pastor's sermons and the congregation's needs.

Membership

Growing the church is all about community building. We help promote the church through publicity and welcoming activities for visitors and members.

Trustees

The finances and operations of the church need to be intact, in order to keep things running smoothly in the sanctuary and around our campus. The trustees manage our annual budget and provide property management supervision.

Preschool

Our preschool provides great programs and care for young ones. We work to keep the kids, parents and staff happy and to get them the resources they need to teach and learn.
